Aluminum Sheet Metal Fabrication

Workhorse metal gets the job done for a wide variety of industries

Aluminum is among the most popular sheet metal materials, and it’s easy to see why. The metal is lightweight, strong, and generally resistant to corrosion.

We offer three types of aluminum via our sheet metal fabrication service:

  • Aluminum 5052-H32: Very good corrosion resistance, weldability, highly formable, and moderately strong. Often used in appliances, lighting, wire, and rivets.
  • Aluminum 6061-T651/T6: High corrosion resistance, excellent appearance after anodizing. Used for camera lens mounts, hardware, aircraft fittings, pistons, valves, bike frames.
  • Aluminum 5754 (via Protolabs Network): Excellent corrosion resistance, highly weldable, strong. Often used in automotive and marine applications as rivets and bodywork.
